Partners

Friends of Veterans partners with several local, state and national agencies/organizations to expand funding opportunities for assistance to veterans. Pictured above is Red River Charitable Foundation (RRCF) who partnered with us for one of our golf outings. If your group would like to sponsor a fundraising event that benefits Friends of Veterans, we will be happy to provide materials explaining what Friends of Veterans does and if you would like, we can have one of our members there to help explain.

In addition, Friends of Veterans shares an ongoing, very special relationship with Red River Charitable Foundation (RRCF) in Claremont, New Hampshire. Red River Charitable Foundation (RRCF) continues to provide an ongoing grant for fuel assistance and is a major donor for our fundraising activities. This unique relationship has made it possible for many veterans and their families to receive fuel assistance after local agencies have exhausted their funds. You can visit Red River Charitable Foundation (RRCF) on their website http://redrivercharitablefoundation.com/ for more information.

Red River Charitable Foundation (RRCF) is a 501(c)(3), charitable organization with a dual mandate and mission. RRCF promotes and encourages students to continue their studies in the fields of science and technology as well as supporting US military veterans transitioning to civilian life. RRCF provides opportunities for students in middle school through college interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) scholarships, internships, mentoring, and donations of IT equipment. RRCF supports veterans and their families by providing technology career counseling and mentorships as well as emergency monetary assistance as they integrate back into our community.

Bayada Hospice

Bayada Hospice (Norwich, Vermont) has been a very special partner in 2015, already completing two fundraisers on our behalf. BAYADA Hospice, a BAYADA Home Health Care specialty practice, provides a comprehensive range of end-of-life services that enable people to remain at home with comfort, dignity, and peace of mind. BAYADA Hospice is a national partner of We Honor Veterans, a campaign developed by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Recognizing that veterans have unique needs related to military service, combat experience, or other traumatic events, BAYADA Hospice implements ongoing education and training for its staff and volunteers to ensure our veterans and their families receive the care and support they need to experience a more peaceful end-of-life.
